The Great Goddess hypothesis theorizes that, in the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic periods, a singular, monotheistic female deity was worshipped prior to the development of the polytheistic pagan religions of the Bronze Age and Iron Age. The mother goddess is a personification of nature, motherhood, fertility, and creation who embodies the bounty of the Earth. Sometimes referred to as Mother Earth she is the feminine counterpart of the Sky Father or God the Father.

Tiago Azevedo is a painter and architect who was born in the Azores Islands amongst the mystique of the fog and fantastic landscapes that stimulate creativity and inspiration.
